It is amazing but I recommend you put some wire on the top or some sheets on the top wood part as my parakeets started gnawing at the wood trying to make a hole

Sooo we got this for our sun conure and that was a mistake. This may be our fault, but it's made of wood (fully assembled) and it A) wasn't big enough for him. B) He tuned most of his door into a nest. It wasn't expensive and the mettle that is in it is flimsy. It look nice though.

We purchased this for our panther chameleon and it works great! It’s way more visually appealing than other cages marketed for chameleons and it’s very easy to access the inside to clean and feed him. Great purchase.

I do not recommend it unless you you have small birds. The material is very cheap and breaks easly. It is not worth the money. Is not good for budgies or parrots, they will chew through it!!

This is my second Pawhut purchase. I purchased an outdoor cage in another style. About the same size, but the doors were mounted on the front of the cage and one door was much larger than the other door and much larger than the doors on the second cage I purchased. The larger door is handy for keeping the cage clean and filling food and water bowls. The first door is also four sides of wire, this second cage sports two sides of solid wood and two sides of wire. I have no preference except the solid wood sides make it easier to mount perches, which you have to do yourself. Pawhut cages are bare-bones. You get the cage, thats it. I think the product designers didn't considered perches in their designs. Its not obvious where to mount, or even how to mount perches. The cages are a reasonable value though. Yes, flimsy in their construction, I don't know how long they will last. I have young African Greys, less than a year old. They both seem to like going into their cages at bedtime and naptime. My first pawhut cage had a block of wood as a door lock. My grey took care of that in the first couple of days. Pawhut has fixed that with metal bar locks on the newer model.I gave this three stars because the smaller doors, now mounted on the side, make it a pain to clean. Pawhut should realize that not everything drops. Yes, there is a tray at the bottom, but again not everything drops. I have not attached the top so I can tilt the cage for cleaning. I assembled to the two sides of the roof but just place it on top. There are screwholes, and screws, to attach it.Also it is flimsy, the price really reflects the quality. Recently I heard a crazy noise, I looked over and one of my Greys was tearing apart the trim on the roof of her catch. The wood is very soft. This being an "outdoor" cage, I don't think the cage will last through all four seasons. I use the cages indoor. So I gave it three stars. A little more thought into the design, sturdier materials, maybe add a perch or two, and I would give it four stars. On a positive note, the second cage came a week early. Very prompt delivery.
