The eye cup fits the camera just fine. It allows the LCD on the back to open without interference. Yes, the eye cup does not fit tight - mine fell off a couple of times.. so, I made a decision.. do I want it or not?..I bought it to use, not sit in my camera bag.. so.. super glue to the rescue.. I glued mine on and have had absolutely zero problems with it.. I used a cotton swab to apply a very, very small amount of glue to hold it on and guess what.. works just fine, as I said... I gave it 4 stars because I had to do the work to get it to stay on the camera..

This viewfinder eyecup doesn't fit Sony A7C firmly. It falls off easily thus not practical for normal use. I have returned it. It might fit other model better but I don't recommend it for Sony A7C.
