Forefoot halter provides grip and support in high heels, pumps and sandals. Helps make shoes more comfortable. One size fits all women's sizes. Girl is not a metatarsal pad which is placed behind the metatarsal heads. Nor is it a forefoot cushion per se. It is a "halter" which is the industry term for an item that keeps the foot from sliding forward in shoes. The problem of sliding forward is usually associated with wearing high heels. Girl is cushioned but it is also textured to help grip your foot.

Just the Fix I needed for my Doc Martin Carlson Mules. I have 2 pairs and always was having trouble with them staying on my foot and after walking for long my toes would fatigue from trying to keep the shoe on, also hated how they looked strapped back. Now they stay on my foot and it’s comfortable having something for the ball of my foot and toe to hold the mules to my feet. I’ll walk around today in them & see if it’s the fix I needed but so far around my apartment they seem like it’s just what I needed.

Bought these for a new pair of heels. My foot was sliding too far forward. This fixed that situation AND added a comfortable cushion beneath the ball of my foot. Buying 2 more for other shoes.

The product does prevent your foot from sliding forward, but damaged my connective tissue after wearing the shoe a few times. The pad is thick and shaped like a mound, and puts pressure on your forefoot when you step.Since trying out this product, I have been dealing with a torn metatarsal for the last 8 months requiring surgery. I know it was the shoe pad, because when I slid my foot into the same shoe after the pain began, a large jolt of pain ran through my foot and leg. If you place this pad just slightly in the wrong place in your shoe, it can cause damage. This little shoe pad has turned my life upside down and now I can barely walk or exercise. Just waiting for surgery now.

These are the absolute best shoe inserts. I put these now into all my high heels. I buy these type for the balls of my feet and then I usually buy the style that you put at the back of the ankle to prevent your foot from sliding up. and because of these two Pedag inserts, I can walk all day long in my high heels without pain.I had been using the foam and gel type inserts from Dr. Scholl’s and other brands that you can find in the drugstores for years. They made my shoes better, but never great. And then I discovered these real genuine leather inserts from Pedag. I will never go back to any other brand. These are the absolute best shoe inserts ever! They stay in place, they are well padded, and they look great inside the shoe too. They look high-end and classy and yet they are super functional. They definitely are the absolute best shoe inserts out there. Don’t waste your money on any other brands!

These definitely grip and stay in place well, but if you want to take them out they are IMPOSSIBLE to remove. And they are a VERY thick cushion. They were a bit too thick for the pair of shoes I wanted to use them for after wearing them once, and when I tried to take them out they two sections separated leaving me to have to try to grip and tear the middle cushion in pieces. Super annoying!

Great kit, which includes the ball of foot cushions and the little inserts you put at the back of your heel to keep your foot from slipping out. Perfect for my narrow feet that are somewhere in between sizes. The cushions for the forefoot aren't super cushiony, but they do help with my high heels that have no cushioning at all. They leave room for your toes, but you really do need to use the adhesive strips or they won't stay in place (which means you can't shift them from one pair of shoes to another).I recommend buying the lot rather than singles, since it's more economical. These will work well with any kind of shoe, including sandals and open-toed pumps, since the pads are not visible.

I'm only 4'11 1/2 (yes I claim my 1/2 inch) and 90 lbs (no I'm not a child..I'm actually 39 years old), so as you can guess I have extremely small feet. All my life I have had to deal with wearing shoes that are too big. And it's worse with heels!!! I am a paralegal in a law firm so I have to wear heels but the smallest size in the stores for high heels (were I'm not paying hundreds of dollars) is a size 5 and then of course the selection is tiny. Usually what I would have to do is buy high heels that had a strap at the heel. While I was searching the internet (cause we know that we can find anything on here) I came across these Grips. All of a sudden I heard the angels sing. I bought them right away and I am sooooo thankful and pleased that I did!!!! They work GREAT and even better when combined with Pedag Stop Padded Leather Heel Grips (you can purchase them here: [ASIN:B008S9O67I Pedag Stop Padded Leather Heel Grips, Gray, Five Pair] ). Now when using the Heel Grips if after you put one on you still feel like you're foot is slipping out you can add another one on top if the first one.FULL DISCLOSUREI was not paid to do this extensive review. Nor was I given anything for it. This review is 100% my opinion and I did purchase these myself so this isn't one of those "given to me free to do a review".

First of all, these aren't designed to be a cushion. Yes, they do cushion but, they are supposed to be grippy to keep you from slipping forward in your heels, munching your toes and ruining the toe box of your shoes.I have tried at least two dozen different ones and there has always been some point of failure or design flaw. These are great. 1) they are leather and neoprene type material = sturdy. 2) the grippy pad is seriously grippy, even if damp. 3) the adhesive is quite strong. Make sure you place the pad correctly in the shoe. It is moveable but, it's not super easy, otherwise what would be the point? You're supposed to be standing on it, right? 4) does provide some padding for the ball of the foot, so if you're shoes are really snug, they may not be the best choice.
