excellent solution for transporting gear from point to point locally. it is easy to fit camera kit and computer into a case. it is very good for any sports photographer to carry big lens like 400mm f2.8 with a computer to a location. it is easily to lock down everything into one box. it is a big plus.It can fit in, 2 pro bodies, 16-35, 24-70, 70-200, 400 f2.8, flash,15" laptop and accessories. i can swap out 400mm and replaced with 2 set Phottix indra 500 strobes with batteries.it is heavy with fully loaded. i have DIY to replace the wheel with a set of roller wheel. it feels much better running on the bumpy path. it is waterproof when transporting during heavy rain.I have one 1514 case which is smaller. It is two 1560 case which is my second case. 3 pelican cases with wheels. Love it.

This is my 5th Pelican and my second 1560 but this is the first time I bought the SC layout.As I expected the case is solid, the handle and wheels work as expected and I like that it can be secured with padlocks. I often secure my Pelicans to the floor of my Jeep using chain and padlocks with longer shackles.As others have said, this case is a beast and fits most of my camera gear with ease including 2 DSLR bodies with vertical grips attached, 6 lenses, light meter, 3 Pocket Wizards, 6 77mm filters, extra memory cards, batteries, intervalometers, tether cables.... in other words a ton of stuff.As the name implies this is an ideal case for the studio – take your bodies, lenses and laptop to the studio or on location, but this is NOT the case to take with you as a carry on on board a plane. It's too large.The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the laptop lid organizer which is the main reason I bought this case. My 15" MacBook Pro feels lost in the giant compartment so I'm likely to store the laptop in a neoprene case inside the compartment. The case works great. The one thing that I did not do is to check to see if it could be a carry-on on the plane. It is to big for the sizes but no one stopped me and it does fit in the overhead.

If your like me, as a photographer, you are continually collecting more gear. I had been purchasing Pelican 1510s as they are easy carry on but had filled 3 so when I traveled, it was re-arranging my equipment to fit into one case depending on the requirements. I needed a larger solution to hold my stuff and pull out what I need to build a kit for a particular shoot or bring it all. This case is a is monster and fulfills my requirements. I was able to fit almost all of the contents of 2 1510s in this case. The depth is great as it will hold cameras with extra battery grips attached vertically and will fit a 17" MacBook Pro in the lid.Highly recommended.

few things have lived up to my expectations after buying this is one that makes me glad i paid the price for it! I amazed how much STUFF i can fit in this thing!.... my ONLY issue is the laptop lid flap sometimes gets in the way of closing the case...I readjusted the postion in the lid wich helped a bit.if you need to carry a ton of tools,electronics,cables,adapters along with a laptop this might be the Case for you!TIP: MESH bags of various sizes make organizing and space saving a great accessory for this case!
