I would have preferred this to not have the terminals installed, since to use on my stove, I had to cut them off, shortening the conductor. Otherwise, this works as it is supposed to, and runs pretty quiet for a gearmotor.That said, it lasted about two months then the final gear of the gear train broke inside, rendering this useless, stalling the motor and melting the conductor.Would not recommend for a high-torque application like its intended use.

I used this in my pit boss pellet grill and it works great so far. I had to modify the grill to get it to fit properly but this is a more robust unit and worth the time to adjust the old mounting area. I also had to drill the hole through the shaft for the shear pin. No problem since the shaft still fits in the auger which was a win win for me with this. So far I would not hesitate to purchase again if I got a couple years out of this gear motor.
