I use a lot of this product. This seemed to have more bubbles than usual. Today I was going to reorder. In March it was free shipping. Today it says $18 for shipping. Amazon marketplace sellers are sneaky. Buyer beware.

The description says 36 yards, but the bolt only has 20 yards. That makes the cost per yard almost twice. I would have bought local if I had known the true yardage.

Product works well in general. If using small pieces, sometimes the paper backing comes off before it should.

As an art quilter, I do a lot of design based on my photographs. This fusible web is lightweight and has a paper backing. This is perfect for me as I can create my design, and then trace the design on to the paper side of the fusible for cutting out the pieces.I generally cut out slightly outside my drawn lines (I draw each pattern piece separately, not just re-tracing the drawing as such), and then fuse to the fabric. Then cut out the exact pattern piece. This ensures that there is fusible web all the way to the edges. And then peel the paper away, careful not to stretch the fabric.I fuse lightly with just a touch of the iron to make sure the piece is in place, and then give it a good burst of steam to fuse in place.There are other products, some with a bit of adhesive to help them stay in place, but I've never really needed that. Wonder Under is inexpensive, lightweight and easy to use.

After trying several fusible webs for applque on quilts, I like Wonder Under the best for it's combination of solid fusing with soft hand or feeling, particularly for quilts that will be used regularly versus wall pieces. Buying by the bolt for quilters also makes sense as it usually cuts the per yard price significantly.

I love this product. It is great for quilting, sewing and anything else that you need to attach to fabric. Just cut out any item in fabric, add wonder under and attach the item to anything you want to. I did hearts and attached it to granddaughters shirts. Many ideas for this item.
