Brush door sweeps are designed to seal the gap between the bottom of the door and the top of the threshold or floor surface. They are usually supplied with a flat flange. The flat flange provides the best contact between the brush and the threshold or floor surface.

I ordered one length of the Pemko because it was available sooner. This was to finish a project begun with 8 lengths of the similar Randall product. The Pemko has less dense brush fibers which fall out when you trim a piece to length. The Randall fibers stay in their carrier. Also, the Randall screws are first rate: they do not cam out.
