The listing for this item said it was 11-12.5” long. I needed a sizable head for my project. This was only 8.5-9” long. I saw a similar gator head listed at 8” for $47. I paid $99 for this one under the measurements of approx 12”. It was significantly shorter. Outside of that, they did a great job with the taxidermy work. It just needs to be bigger… or sold as smaller so this mistake would be avoided.

How it started …I was gifted an alligator head and thought WTF ?? But after some creative placement, it is a showcase of the house.My dad saw it was really wanting one. With his birthday around the corner I rolled the dice and ordered this . He was beyond excited and His wife even said it just adds an element of unexpected “cool” to their very thoughtful decor.Anyhow - its unique - it’s well done and no regrets.
