Saw a couple of teachers using thing and he wanted one to keep his pencil on his stand without it getting in the way or rolling off. This was expensive but he loves it.

The concept is good but its execution leaves a lot to be desired. The part that slides onto the shelf of the stand is open too far to secure it. When you insert or remove your pencil the entire holder comes off the stand. I have wedged folded paper in the space, but it is still awkward. Disappointed.
