The good thing about this product is that it serves its purpose and does a good job of pumping air (I use it in my 20 gallon). It does work like it is supposed to with the ability to adjust the flow, but one major thing wrong with the pump is that it is NOT quiet by any means. It is loud even if you hold it in your hand. I keep mine on a washcloth and although it kept me up the first few nights I had it, but I eventually got used to it.

This pump is very quiet. I had an aquatop breza before and it was loud from the beginning. This pump is so quiet that my filter is actually louder. The only draw back is the adjustment knob is kind of cheap. If you twist it too far it comes right off. I’m basing my review off of the lack of noise coming from the pump. Great pump especially for the price. Would buy again.

Was a little scared of ordering this because of the up and down reviews, but I love it. Has been working like a charm for over 2 months and is very quiet. I don't even remember it is on.
