I don't know what is wrong with the people who wrote negative reviews because this was "complicated to set up. It isn't. This is VERY easy. The net uses poles like a pup tent uses. You open the poles, they snap together, one for each side. You slide the net on and then stake it down. You clip on the 2 straps (already fixed to the base). Done. The racquets are metal and quite tough. The one thing I would buy in addition to this are some metal stakes. The plastic ones are hard to get into the ground and eventually break. But there are great aluminum stakes for cheap on amazon. We are getting a ton of use out of this. It is a strong net. I love it.

I didn't buy this on Amazon but figured anyone considering purchasing this would still want to know what a lousy product it is. It is not at all easy to assemble and, at one point in the instructions, it tells you to have two adults present to proceed with the assembly. Two adults necessary to assemble a badminton net pretty clearly indicates it is not the easy assembly advertised. Once up, it collapsed within minutes of use. Oh, and the plastic pegs they supply for you to use to secure it to the ground - yeah, they snapped. Buy literally any other product than this. A potato peeler would be more useful to an afternoon of badminton playing than is this ridiculous "premium" set. As would a fishing rod, an inflatable giraffe, an Easybake Oven or a steel-belted radial tire. Choose from any of those to purchase instead of this for a better game of badminton. Just wow.

It took three grown men 20 minutes to get this taut enough to attempt to play. It was slightly windy that day and within 15 minutes of play, the poles ripped through the pocket of the net and everything collapsed.
