I needed new lead for my pencils and I went to every store I could think of and they didn't have any .9 lead so I bought it online instead. its good, idk what else to say other than its lead and a good item.

I've been a fan of PaperMate Clear Point 0.9 mm pencils for many years. I started with 0.5 mm size, then 0.7 mm and now 0.9 mm (adjusting to getting older). I was delighted to find these Pentel replacement leads. They fit the PaperMate pencils perfectly and write clearly and consistently. Highly recommend.

Love Love love these lead refills! It's a great size lead for kids/people who write with a lot pressure. Writes smoothly, nice and dark, and lasts much longer than the 0.7 size lead. I'm currently using them, for and with my child, with the colorful Bic Sturdy mechanical pencils that take the 0.9 lead size.

It's a 0.9 mm lead pencil refill which I have a difficult time finding inside a store. Sizes 0.5mm and 0.7mm are usually all I can ever find so I am VERY HAPPY with this purchase. The price was great AND delivery was free so what's not to like? I prefer a thicker lead because I tend to press hard when I write and thinner lead always breaks.I give it 5 Stars for being a better, thicker, lead.

For some old (1970's vintage?) Autopoints, I wanted to see if this lead would work. It did -- very nicely!! The Autpoint lead -- that came in a little round tube -- measured 0.035 inches in diameter, which translates into 0.9 mm. The original Autopoint leads are 1.3 inches long; the Pentel leads are 2.4 inches. So break the Pentel leads in half and, happily, they do the job for my ancient Autopoints. Perfect!!!

I really didn't need a 3 pack of these for my pencil however, the price being what it was, really couldn't pass it up. I have WAY more pencil lead than I need but that's ok. I'm more of a gel pen kind of person but I use pencils in my truck specifically since they aren't susceptible to heat/cold so they work whenever.
