I’ve bought one of these before for my daughter’s airsoft rifle and it has been dropped in ponds, been through hours of rain in the PNW and proved it’s durable. So I got another one for her gel blaster as she has neighbor hood wars with other kids and airsoft is banned in our neighborhood unfortunately but luckily gel blasters are fine. My daughter has digital nightvision and she utilizes the IR laser a lot for night battles. She hasn’t complained to me about her laser losing zero. If you want a good real peq for shooting real rifles; don’t get this , this is for toys. They finance real L3 Harris PEQ 15s on various websites if you can’t afford one. Again don’t get this for real weapons, brother bought one for his .22 LR and it lost zero after 28 rounds.

Light is actually not bad for the price. Pressure switch isn’t the worst either. Clearly designed for “air soft”. Bought as a place holder while waiting for my NGAL. Since it was mounted I figured I’d test it so you don’t have to. Testing was done with 55gr 5.56 Winchester white box at 40ft with a suppressed MCX Spear LT. Device is mounted on GBRS Group Hydra. Test was as follows.-zeroed at around 40 ft from prone ( zero was just called good enough knowing the device was likely to fail)-left device off and fired around 100 shots while sighting in EOTECH and running some short test drills.-rechecked zero from 40ft again and at prone. Results are in picture. POINT OF AIM was the same. POINT OF IMPACT clearly very off. About a 4 inch+ shift over 100 rounds. Other hits on target were test holdovers and used to sight in optic or test different devices.

I was sceptical about the quality for $35 but when it came I was shocked at the good quality.

KECPVLI PEQ-15 IR Laser Visible Red Laser White LED FlashlightSeller has failed to mention (at time of order, seller has since updated description) that this item is intended for Airsoft use. It is a molded plastic look-a-like (sort of) of a real AM-PEQ15, used by both the Military and civilians. (Those are in the 2K range.)The flashlight and IR and red lasers do work. They illuminate. The laser module has adjustment screws for windage and elevation, but internally, the laser is held in place by a weak coil spring pressing against it at a 45° angle, and the adjustment screws move the module up or down, left or right, but braced against the spring tension, not held in position in any controlled positive engagement. So, recoil will cause the laser module to bounce against the spring and jump all over, not holding zero. The item has "Dummy" adjustment screws for the flashlight. (That is what the instructions call them). Also, a warning to "Please take out batteries when not in use". Ironically, the batteries were installed in the unit when I received it.It arrived in a nice plastic box with two (charged) batteries, a battery charger with USB cord, (that will only charge one battery at a time), a remote pressure switch with mounting accessories, and a small instruction sheet under the foam padding. .It is intended to mount on a picatinny rail. Requires a flat blade screwdriver (or fingers) to tighten the single mounting bolt. Mounting rails are molded plastic, NOT very strong or stable. This is a fun Cosplay item for Airsoft type guns. Not a serious accessory for any firearm. For that purpose, for the price, probably a fair value.

First, although it isn't mentioned anywhere in the description, this is for an airsoft gun. That seems important!I was a bit surprised when I opened the box, as I was sent an obviously used product. The case was very scratched and scuffed. But I went ahead and charged the batteries to give it a go...... at least I tried. The charger doesn't seem to work with both batteries. If I tried both at once, they inevitably shot out. Or, fit in a different way, they weren't touching both sides of the charger. I finally got them to charge one at a time. What use is that?? Honestly, at this point it could be the best product ever, and I wouldn't be impressed. There are definitely some quality issues to be worked out.

For what this is…an imitation PEQ-15 laser illuminator for airsoft rifles…it’s great. Its decent build quality and ability to use it with or without the remote switch mean it’s likely to last for a good number of airsoft games or general LARPing. I don't think this is tough enough to withstand actual abuse like being thrown or run over by a vehicle, but I don't think you can expect that for the price. It’s pretty intuitive to use…in fact, once I installed the batteries, I got it all figured out within 5 minutes. It wasn’t until a few days later that I actually discovered the manual and laser warning stickers were in the case, under the foam padding (I wondered why this wouldn’t ship with any laser warning at all, even if it’s a low-powered laser…I still wonder why they aren’t affixed).Since I don’t plan to do any shooting with this (it’s for looks/prop), I cannot say how well the windage and elevation adjustment work. And while I do not have any night-vision goggles, I do have a camera that is converted to “see” infrared light, and the IR laser for this device does work.Overall, if you’re looking to add a fake IR weapon light to your LARP or airsoft rig, this will definitely look the part. Just don't think you're getting something you can actually use in lieu of the real thing.
