When I buy a splash panel like this one for as little as it costs, I honestly do expect something less than perfection. But this one didn't meet my lower expectations.First, the good... The material is adequately stiff and strong (for a budget splash panel), so it's not like some that are so thin that they're going to be destroyed by every bit of road debris that is kicked up. And overall dimensionally, it really kind of fits - well enough that it should stay in place and protect the bottom of the car from road spray and debris. Some of the holes ARE properly placed and sized to allow just pushing the bolt or retainer clip through.The letdown is that the holes on the side of the panel (that connect to the fender liner at the front corners, and to the outer front splash "mini-panels" are tiny - maybe 1/4" in diameter. No way anyone's pushing a retainer clip through those. I was working away from my garage, so was forced to use the tail of a file to gouge out the holes larger (and that was on the good side). On the other side, I had to drill new holes and then gouge them out (I didn't have a big enough drill bit).That's not how installing a new splash panel is supposed to go.I did give the panel two stars because - after way too much time and effort - it IS under the car, and looks like it will probably stay there.
