The first unit I ordered was partially opened - so returned. I ordered a replacement, but the project I needed it for was already resolved so I didn't open it until just recently - and the unit is defective! The replacement packaging also showed signs it may have been previously opened - there was a large slit in the blister pack. My guess is that A-zon is sending out returned items, not new items. Anyway, that'll teach me not to wait so long to open the package and test it. FYI, the actual hand pump is the part that's defective, squeezing the trigger generates no pressure on the gauge.

Not sure how I would be doing it wrong but it doesn't seem to work at all? Would give this 1 star but I won't because I'm not exactly sure if I am using it wrong.
