I originally purchased the twine to bundle together small piles of branches/sticks for our yard waste collection days where we can use natural twine to bundle piles of branches/sticks together if they are under 3 feet long and less than 20lbs per bundle. I ran into strength consistency issues with the twine where there might be 1-3 feet of twine that is super strong and will require a knife to cut it (exactly what I was looking for)… then there are some very weak sections of twine where I can easily “cut” it in two by just gently pulling it between my hands. I was able to achieve my task by doing pull tests with the twine and just tying it back together if they break… but it added a lot of extra time and effort. My last few batches of twine that I purchased from the big stores also had strength/weakness consistency issues, although it did not happen as often… but this twine is about half the price.My second goal of the twine was to support garden plants by tying them to wood and metal supports. My plants are not tall enough to start doing this yet, but I expect the twine to function great for this and compost well at the end of the season.
