The lockdown bolt size does not fit my ‘06 STi

Bought this for my 2004 Subaru Forester XT. this kit doesn't go for this car. at least not all the parts. the lockout bolts fit, the outrigger bushing fits (not well, but i found a work around), the rear diff bushings DO NOT fit (where they're suppose to go).so, installing the outrigger bushings (bigger round bushing), i noticed that it doesn't have a place to hold it in place. short of me holding it center while tightening the bolt down, but didn't feel like that was a good fit. i found that the smaller bushings (which are for the rear diff bracket bushings(which the xt doesn't have)) fit inside the bigger bushing. placing them inside held the bigger bushing center. drives nice and def made a difference.overall, i really bought these for the lockdown bolts. for the price, i got some bushings with it. i liked these better because the kartboy ones have a plastic collar from what i read. the perrin ones are machined metal.

The bushings themselves are great but the lockdown bolt are another story I used the recommend led tap for the subframes hole and the bolt actually snapped halfway in on one side so. I had to drop the melt the bolt out with a torch !

Of course anything from Perrin is of quality.Everything fit perfect and definately performs well.Could definately feel the back end of my 03 WRX tuck when under boost.

Pretty easy to install, no need to press out/in new diff bushings since these simply fill the voids. Lockout bolts alone are worth the money, worth more actually for the effect (please chase out the threads with a M12 1.25 tap before installing bolts). Outrigger bushings are very easy to install as well but create a very loud whine between 55-75mph for my WRX Wagon.Probably more noticeable on a wagon with the open hatch. I plan to remove the outrigger bushings to see if there's enough slop to merit the truly loud whine. Regardless, this is an awesome upgrade to tie in the rear-drivetrain and the rear-suspension (bolts).

installing everything was good except the lockdown bolts . You might need tapper to installed lockdown bolts . My bolts couldn't lock in . But every else stiff up nice. Shift through the gears smooth.
