This alarm saved myself and probably 50-60 people from injury at the Grand Canyon when a Bull Elk became agitated as we all began making our way to the parking lot. He had cornered three people near a wall and then started towards others. I got behind a tree and there was another couple behind me. When the elk got within 2 feet of the tree, I pulled the alarm. The sound immediately caused to elk to freeze and then back off. IThe alarm allowed everyone to get to the lot without anyone getting hurt, including the elk. I won't ever hike again without this!

Good piece of EDC on a keychain. Better than relying on the strength of your lungs to get attention.

This personal alarm is small and lightweight, making it easy to take with you, but it's also incredibly loud. When you pull the pin, it flashes and lets out a ear-shattering sound. Just put the pin back in to turn it off. The alarm has a low battery indicator, so you'll always know when it needs a charge. Plus, the battery life is great. The clip-on design is super convenient, allowing you to attach it to your belt, purse, or keychain. This alarm gives me an added sense of security when I'm out alone at night, jogging in secluded areas, or traveling to new places – it's always within reach, which is a huge relief.

I recommend all kids having these. I put one in each of my kids backpacks and showed them how to use them. These seem to have a pretty long life. But I do recommend teach your kids to check these on the "day of the there birthday each month".

This is good to have around.It does feel like average plastic, nothing too special.It has a small light which may be useful if you drop something in your car, but it's not really lighting up your path.To activate the alarm, you need to pull the two pieces apart, and then put them back together to turn it off.

This personal alarm works exactly as expected. Alarm is small, lightweight yet loud, bright and easy to activate. Holds a decent charge and can easily be clipped to your person. Feels like lightweight plastic but seems to be made of a high enough quality material to last. Perfect Alarm for that extra feeling of security.
