There was no direct instruction but I carefully pry the back piece to reuse it with no glueing.The glass quality is great and has really good weight to it, gave it as a gift, it does not free stand just laying flat.

These are phenomenal! Last year, a friend bought a vintage paperweight, removed the picture, placed a pic of my dog in its place, and sent it to me. It was the most thoughtful gift I have ever received. I, in turn, started purchasing old paperweights and gifting them to special customers (with pictures of their beloved pet.) Now, I have discovered this product and I am "over the moon." It's a great size and shape, and the price is decent. I board dogs, in my home, and (well, no one lives forever) understand the grief one feels when a friend passes on. This glass paperweight will replace the picture frame gift that I, customarily, give. Also, a paperweight can go anywhere in the home. It can be by a phone, in a car, even in a purse! And, skipping over the lost pet idea, think of weddings, baby showers, first year at college ("Don't forget your mother!"), and . . . . well, you can take it from here. Trust me, this paperweight (with a picture of your choosing) will be the most remembered gift you''ll ever send.

One tiny niggle is that the adhesive patch didn’t work. But it was easy peasy to glue the photo on the pad and press the pad into the back of the glass frame. It is so beautiful and a great way to present a family photo, a work of art or a digital art piece such as the one in my photo. I am buying more of these to give as gifts.

I suggest the manufacturer change this picture. I almost did not purchase it because I had the impression it would obscure whatever I put in it. The quality does not look good here, BUT, It was a nice surprise to get a clear and good quality product. I wrote a poem for a friend, and placed it in inside with a piece of pressed flower. It looked awesome.
