This is my first time purchasing these and I can tell you they are actually made of hard ceramic like you toilet. They definitely wont burn but the little black mounting bushings (hope they are silicone) might be another story. Time will tell on that. I would imagine these are fragile so don't drop them. They are not what you would expect in a spark plug boot. I recommend.
