Do not buy this product from Amazon. It failed within 2 months on my vehicle. It says in the description that it has a one year warranty, THIS IS A LIE !!, Icontacted the manufacturer, they said I have to contact Amazon, so I did & Amazon said that I have to contact the manufacturer. What a joke!! After approximately 90 minutes on the phone I gave up.

It lasted about 500 miles and died. Left me stranded out of town and cost me $350 to get it towed. It couldn't handle the demands of the coil I brought with it. It should com with a maximum current draw capability. Yes it was mounted on a heat sink and yes it was properly earthed.

I replaced my China made igniter on my Toyota 22R pickup because OEM is no longer made and the cheap Chinese versions are short lived. It's not been too long since the install but the first thing I noticed was a quicker start. Also added a FAST coil. The upgrade works great. Even the tac works without addition resistor.

The modules seem to last for ever. A couple years ago I had my 67 Chevelle in for inspection. Backed it out of the garage and it just died. Turned out to be the HEI module.A friend of mine had an old flame thrower module laying on the shelf in his garage. Fixed my problemuntil I had a chance to buy a new one. Threw the old one in the glove box just in case.Shortly after restoring my daughter's 67 GTO, less than 200 miles on a new distributor, it too died. Good thing I kept the module. I left her install it with some guidance Again I bought a new flame-thrower and told my daughter to throw it in her glove box along with a couple screw drivers. Two years now and the old module is still working fine. But if it ever fails, she will have a new one close at hand and won't be stranded. Good modules. Worth its weight in gold if you have a spare.

Installed on a high performance small block chevy. This product works really well - helps to deliver improved spark, especially when matched with a new cap and rotors and plug wires. Delivers spark throughout the rpm range and in a small engine bay that holds a lot of heat. Easy to install.
