The stock electronic ignition with a ballast resistor just was not working with the aftermarket carburetors we put on the marine Chrysler 360s. Fixed the problem with engine quitting when throttling down following running under load. Smooth acceleration and great low speed maneuvering when docking. Has not quit once since installing these on both 360's. Paired the distributor with a new marine Flamethrower coil with a compatible resistance. Have 12 hours so far on these with no issues. I do wish the cap fit more snuggly, a lot of wiggle when installed in my opinion. But it seems to work, so I'm ok with it.Update: Been a year and the distributors are still going strong. No issues at all.
