Pertronix distributor in 351w in white water jet boat. After hours of trouble shooting and a tow from the coast guard it was discovered original rotor had failed while underway. Replaced the rotor and it fired right up. Keeping the cap in the boat as a spare.

I would recomend the Ignitor III over II..... It has a backup system that will keep it from burning out....... Trust me it's worth the money...1966 F100 352 FE
