I decided to give this brand and item a try.My expirence with the package I received:The rolls looked very nice with no odorMy Dogs loved themHowever I quickly started realizing that the rolls were filled with what looked to be plugs/fillers that I felt were not a good choice for my dogs. I contacted customer service after my expirence and told them about what was happening with the package I received and they were very prompt and courteous in resolving the issue for me.I wanted to pass my opinion of the package I received and my experience with that package to make sure pets are monitored with all treats.

My last dog died from eating the tainted Iams several years ago, so I have a universe of anxiety over what I give the dog I have now. I chose these because they are American rawhide and I'm trying very hard to keep my dog's food as safe as possible, which is a crazymaking endeavor because there is no product for dogs you can research on the internet without finding at least 10 tragic personal accounts of how it killed someone's dog. So I don't know what IS ok, but I know that I don't want ingredients from China in my dog's body.We just finished her first bag of these and she seemed pretty pleased with them. I think she preferred the ones I used to give her that were basted with meat juice or something, but these did fine. Because she didn't always finish them, and if she didn't finish them she ignored the half-chewed remains and begged for a fresh one, I occasionally rubbed peanut butter on the end to make it more exciting and once she started working on it, she would finish.Recently, she's been killing off a whole rawhide in about 2 hours if she works on it diligently without distraction. She's a 12 pound terrier mutt and doesn't have particularly strong jaws, and she was never an aggressive chewer. I can imagine that a larger dog or a dog that chews with great fervor could demolish these much more quickly, and because I know they can become a choking hazard if too large of a piece gets into their mouth at once, I would select the much larger size for a dog with large jaws.Having said that, I've never seen any mess come off of these, no little rawhide bits floating around, and I feel ok about giving them to my dog. I don't give her one every day, so this bag lasted for several months. Also, she's kind of sensitive and I never saw her develop any stomach issues, even after snarfing down a whole rawhide in one sitting.I'm ordering another bag. Compared to billy sticks, these lasted a lot longer for the price.
