Taking my cat to the vet is almost impossible, and even if we can get her there, it is just as hard for the vet to examine her, as she doesn't like to be handled. It was decided long ago that she has to have meds to relax her first, but getting her to take them has always been unsuccessful on our part. She won't eat anything that we try to put it in, and trying to burrito wrap her can be disastrous. The pill shooter that comes with this works where all else has failed, and keeps our hands a safe distance from her mouth. Once the capsule is in, I dip it in a tube snack and can pop the capsule in before she realizes what happened, making the whole experience less traumatic for all involved.

Ever tried to medicate a cat? Goes along the same lines as trying to herd a cat. When my cat was injured, I tried everything on the market to get her to take her pain meds. Worked the first time and then failed. I bought this for next time so that I can hold her and my hub can shoot the pill (or liquid meds) into her mouth. Every house should have this and a soft cone in the arsenal for an injured or sick kitty.

The syringes and popper work well but the bottle thing is a little wonky for use. I got this kit cause I give meds daily and sometimes pet sit for animals that need a pill taken so I wanted to use this with my personal dog then how well it worked get another couple to the ones I watch and to test the cleanablity with. The popper has been a huge help for my pill spitting dog (even with food wrapped around it doesn't work) and now I can get it to the back of the throat without too much hassle. The liquid ones I just tested with water, milk and apple juice as well as some cough syrup to see how well it'd leak and come out. So far it did good with them only leaking a tiny bit when first turned upside down but stay in pretty well. The more watery though the less it does want to cling and stay put.

My kitten is now nine months old so she doesn’t drink out of a bottle anymore however, I would recommend having this kit at your disposal because if your cat falls ill or doesn’t want to eat, the syringes will come in super handy to get fluids into them. The pill shooter works really well. I had to give her some gabapentin and it made the situation less problematic because she’s super hyper and does not cooperate. The materials these are made of our nice and they wash up really well. This is a must have for cat owners

Got this because my cat outsmarts me at pill time. I was skeptical of how well it would work, but it sure does. I appreciate that the pill end is soft silicone and won't cut her mouth up.I'm sure she'll still find a way to outsmart me, but at least she won't shred my fingers in the process.

A stray feral cat had a litter of six kittens on my parents’ property and unfortunately abandoned them shortly after birth. I ordered a few different feeding sets to try, and this one ended up being my favorite. The syringes are especially helpful — the nipples fit right onto them, which makes feeding much easier for the weaker kittens that haven’t figured out how to suckle from a bottle. The nipples are a great size for tiny mouths, and the included bottle holds a good amount of milk. I haven’t needed the pill shooter yet, but I’m glad to have it on hand for when the kittens are older. Plus, the little dinosaur face on it gave me a laugh. Everything feels well-made, washes easily, and has held up well so far. Great price for everything included. I’m already planning to order a second set to keep as a backup!
