Unser Dackel hat ganz überraschend seine letzte Reise angetreten und nun wollten wir eine Urne, die nicht nach Urne aussieht. Unsere Tochter hat sich für dieses Modell entschieden und nun hat Havu einen Ruheplatz wieder mitten in seinem Rudel.Eine wirklich zauberhafte Urne, die auf den ersten Blick tatsächlich wie Holz aussieht. Schön und fehlerfrei verarbeitet.Unten drunter ist ein abschraubbarer Deckel mit großer Öffnung, durch den man die Asche einfüllen kann. Wir wollten sie nicht lose einfüllen und haben die Asche von unserem 11 kg Dackel in dem verplombten Beutel gelassen. War etwas schwierig, den recht störrigen Beutel durch die Öffnung zu bekommen, passte vom Volumen auch gerade so hinein.

I am so glad I chose this product for my dogs final resting place. It's absolutely perfect, and so beautiful. It is adequate size for a small to medium dogs full ashes, and it's heavy enough to remain at rest anywhere you put it.

I rescued a dachshund as a puppy and she was a few months from her 18th birthday. I have had a number of pets cremated in beautiful wooden boxes. However, this was my longest lived pet. And she warranted a special urn all her own. This urn was perfect. It has her coloring. It is also extremely sturdy and well made. I liked how the bottom is not just a bank plug that can come out and become lost. The bottom is screwed in. I never put ashes into an urn without a baggie. But I had my husband put the baggie into the urn and close it up. So, I didn't have to see it. Sometimes ashes can be upsetting. I love that this pup is sleeping. It fits snugly on a shelf and is a very nice way to honor a lost pet. It could have other uses rather than a urn but I bought it for that and I am very happy with it. I wish they made others with other dog shapes.
