I am so glad I found this! It’s not just for SUVs. We had a two hour drive (one way) to make with our 2mo baby and 70lb fur baby. They fit perfectly together in the backseat of my Honda Civic and left my mind at ease for the whole trip. Easy to assemble as well. 10/10!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this seat! My pup had room to move, to lie down and to look out windows all while being safe. The best part besides all of it is that the safety buckle connects directly to the car seatbelt buckle. I definitely recommend this. Great value for money, easy to use albeit a bit of a learning curve for dog and human. It fits my Kia SUV perfectly. It works just as described and provides comfort with the safety.

We have a golden retriever and he likes to ride in the car. But, he also likes water, so to keep my car clean I needed something to protect the seats. I had seen these seat extenders but they always covered the entire back seat and we also have a kid who uses a booster seat and needs his own space in the car. This one was the answer. It covers 2/3 of the back seat leaving space for the car seat and it does also leave enough space to easily get to the passenger seat belt to lock it in. It relies on using the head rests to anchor in the set and suspend it on top of the seat. Those head rests are doing a lot of work, and for my big SUV, the seat rest actually seems too small for it. It doesn't fill the space behind the seat like it shows in the pictures and the positioning of the head rests pulls it out of shape in order to keep it tight. This makes it so it's hard to zip up the outside by the door because the zipper is pulled strangely and you almost need 3 hands to get it to go. The padded board underneath is folded for packing, so it's not a solid piece. Unless you have it stretched tight, it wants to sag over the edge of the seat. I also noticed that the stitching on my piece was loose in some places, which I see as a quality control issue.My golden fills the space, even with the overhang. He looks huge in there and he still has some growing to do, so we'll see how long he can use it. All that being said, it proved it's worth today when he went splashing in puddles and we had to load him up in the car. He loaded up into it without hesitation, and he is a bit of a timid guy. I had no worries about my car getting soiled with the seat extender there. When we got him out, there was dirt all over the seat and we were just able to sweep it out. It was nice. So, I'm happy to have it, I'm glad someone made one that doesn't take over the whole back seat, and it functions as it should. I'm just a little disappointed in the build and the fact that it relies so heavily on suspending from the head rests to work.

The dog car seat is perfect for our 40 pound large breed puppy. She is now too big for us to lift in a puppy crate to load into a car, but she’s still a little too young for us to trust to ride responsibly in the backseat. This car seat allows us to let her climb onto the car floorboard and then seat and then go through the zippered side into the doggie car seat. One of us can sit next to her while the other person drives so we can safely educate her on correct car behavior.It was easy to install and sends the training message that crate behavior is expected. By the time she outgrows it it should be easy to transition her to traveling properly in the full backseat area.The sewing is good and the materials feel durable so I expect this to serve us well for our current puppy and for several more to come in the future. We think it’s great and it is sure making trips to the vet a whole lot easier.

Got this for my son's car as he just adopted a puppy. He said it was easy to install an use. It works great for his puppy.Definitely worth the price.
