This thing is large and durable! It's not super thick plastic but it's sturdy. I'm using it as a water bowl/soaking tub for my ball python. It fits in his habitat perfectly!! Would definitely recommend!!

Very large yet very lightweight perfect for larger reptiles like turtles or ball python. When it is buried the shape makes it look very natural. Made from durable materials it is very easy to clean. Imitation river style design which is suitable for turtles and reptiles to climb up and down, which can enhance their exercise ability and make them healthier. Perfect for pets to play, exercise and sunbathe. This is a hit in my reptile room at this time.

Got this for my tortoise who loves baths. He is a tortoise so a lot of other pond ramps were too steep or slick for my tortoise to get up, this one has been perfect for him though. For reference, he is a 7 year old Hermanns tortoise so he is not huge but also not small enough for so many of those tiny water tubs for turtles. It is the perfect depth and width for him as well though this will greatly vary depending on what reptile you are buying for so make sure you know what measurements you need. The only thing I don't love is that there isn't much of an overhang on the outside so substrate gets pulled in. To be clear, this happens with pretty much every other water dish or tub I have tried. However, I think if this one had just a bit bigger of an overhang it would help keep the substrate out so better. Basically, it is almost perfect...almost. The brown color blends in nicely with the dirt and cocoa fibers. The weight is not so much that it is hard to take out to clean but also not so light that he can burrow under it which he has done with other water dishes. Highly recommend this pond for your reptile!

I have turtles, tortoises, lizards and frogs.The steps aren’t wide enough for my young Russian tortoises.My adult box turtles just fit width wise on the steps but they’re so steep they could flip over. This does work well for my lizards because they can easily climb up the steps or just over the side and out.This would work for my frogs too.This could be sunk in substrate but mine was ordered for their outdoor enclose.The pool portion is a nice size for enjoying a dip.

I only have two negative critiques. First, the ramp could be wider, very narrow and some reptiles, like turtles/tortoise will have issue entering and exiting. Second, bit pricey for a plastic dish. But, decent quality.

This pond bowl feels sturdy and is a good size for use in a terrarium with crabs or turtles where you need a little water but not a full aquarium. No bottom drain, so if you want a filter system you need to use one that has an intake from sitting in the water and not from tubing. No hole also means one less leak risk though, and you can use it with no filter if you prefer.
