When Petron Plus Formula 7 is added to an existing lubricant, tiny molecules (less than 1 micron in diameter) are carried directly to the friction face. Because the molecules are very small, 0.1 in size (a human hair is 50 microns). Solid additives (i.e., PTFE, Teflon (a registered trademark of DuPont), Moly, Graphite, etc.) are 2 to 10 microns in size. The Petron Plus Formula 7 technology is much the size of a cold virus, and in that conjunction can’t be stopped. Once the molecules reach the friction face, they are attracted to the surface, thereby reducing friction, wear and drag. The Petron Plus Formula 7 Nano Monomolecular technology contains none of the common EP agents such as molybdenum disulfide (Moly), graphite, Teflon, or PTFE resins, copper, lead, silver, or other metals, nor other previously used EP agents. It doesn’t contain Carbon Tetrachloride, 1,1,1, Trichloroethane, or Chlorinated Paraffin, or Chlorinated Solvents or any other harmful solvent. The Petron Plus Formula 7 Nano Monomolecular lubricant technology is about to revolutionize the design and performance of wear components, thanks to the extremely high shear strength of the re-engineered hydrocarbon. Once there, intermolecular force pulls the molecules to the surface where they cluster to fill in any pores or roughness. This product is absolutely amazing!! I met a rep at a flea market in Webster FL and he showed me how the product works and how bad Lucas oil really is. Long story short, I drive a F-250 with a 6.4 and blew an oil cooler line somewhere around Chattanooga Tennessee, I stopped in Indianapolis IN, at a Ford dealer because of the oil indicator kept flashing. Needless to say, no oil and the truck is still running. If you read this review, please do your research on this product and you will see it is worth every penny. This happen 10 years ago and my truck is still on the road with over 375, thousand miles. I put this product in everything including my boat, tractor, riding mower, generator and my RV.

This product is for diesel and is used in my Dodge truck. The one for gas was used in my wife's van. On a spot check I found van was out of oil. Wife had been driving it around town daily. Don't know how long it was without oil. Determined it was blown out on the road through main seal. I know the manufacture personally. Met them after my workplace started using their grease. The difference it made is why I started using their products. Company is located in Hutchinson, Kansas. Did not want to bother them for one bottle. I'll order a several and other items direct from them later.

I have been using this product for years. Have had superior results from it. 331000 miles on gas engine. No oil leaks, no smoking, no compression loss, no ticking, knocking or anything else. And just to make things clear for the individual that is confused about which formula to use, they are different because it has to blend in with the oil that you are running for what ever type fuel combusted engine. Not a mechanic in a can, just proven technology that works. This is a preventive maintenance product not a fix it because it is broken product. Mr. Muddy should educate himself before he writes a review that he has no idea about. The difference in products is for the blending factor to properly break down with the type oil being used to disperse to internal engine components properly.

Why I give this two stars? Why would a product they claim treats the metal and not the oil in an automotive engine need to be different for a diesel versus a gas engine? Two different products that are most likely the same thing to throw the customer off. Almost feel for this snake oil pitch but caught myself at the very end as common sense came through. Good luck folks. There is no such thing as a ''mechanic in a can'' remember.
