It combines the fluidity of the spring gate with the lightness of the wire gate system. Petzl's MonoFil Keylock technology and the H-profile give the ANGE S carabiner an ultra-light weight of 28 grams and an optimal weight/strength ratio. So it is particularly suitable for users looking to reduce their weight to a minimum. The shape of the nose is designed to optimize clipping and unclipping.

This is a great carabiner. It's nice and compact and very light. It feels very nicely made and finished. The wire gate works well. This is probably the best Petzl carabiner for using on your jeans for your keys or to hang your gloves or torch. I didn't purchase it for climbing but they are extremely strong regardless. The wire gate allows you to instantly clip something on or remove it without the need for a fiddly lock. Its a very nice carabiner.

リュックに鍵をしまうのが面倒なので、このカラビナで運用。１００均だと外れるのが不安だったり、デザインしょぼいのと登山用を使ってみたかったのでこちらを購入。めっちゃ満足。普段はあまり音をならさないが、パチン！としまる音が気持ちよくて、たまに無駄にパチパチいわせてしまう。口の部分の大きさも、カラビナ自身の大きさもちょうどいい。ズボンのベルト通しにもかけやすい。

Not a climber. Use it for securing my yeti to my backpack during school. My backpack doesn’t have the side pockets for a water bottle but it has a ton of molle straps all over it so I connect this beaner to one of those and to the water bottle and it works great.

Love the design of this. It works really well. I don't climb, so no comment on that aspect. As a general carabiner, I have never found another style I thought was better designed.

I first brought this as a carabiner for my keys but it was way to big for my liking for that. Now it's attached to my backpack and works well for attaching any pack add-ons to my backpack. This product is sturdy.

As a key holder - hey, don't be haters; I used to climb. but now I'm old - the single spike that is the gate sometimes goes though your sweater before it makes its way to your jeans belt loop.Lovely piece of work otherwise. Beautifully finished.

I use these all of the time for all my climbing needs and to keep my keys on. They are in my opinion the most ingenious carabiners Petzl makes! I love the larger size as well!

I was looking for a simple, secure, light weight, duel purpose key carabiner that I could trust staying with me under most conditions. This was the last one I tried and currently using. It's professional use capable, lightweight, and the clip is inset into the carabiner to prevent catching on anything it's holding. It's still possible to twist and turn a key out but the spring is strong and angled to limit the chances of that happening. It may not be perfect for what I'm using it for but it's the best I've found to date. I have a custom carabiner made out of solid block aluminum that is fantastic but the spring clip is not shrouded or inset into the frame. I was fortunate enough in what I was doing to notice something "missing' suddenly only to look behind me and find my keys laying on the ground behind me. Evidently the carabiner had caught on my belt loop somehow and twisted itself off. I think the ANGE will be more difficult for that to happen.

To be honest, I only use this small size for clipping my shoes to my pack or attaching my chalk bag to my harness... That being said... I trust both mine and my loved ones life with Petzl products at least 3 times a week and this product lives up to my standards.

Keeps my keys very secure at all times. The quality of the locking mechanism is very good and it makes a solid snap and great connection when slammed shut.The non-binding clip always manages to hit metal on metal and not catch my clothes. Now if only my belt loops were of as good quality as this...
