I wear these over Tae Kwon Do shoes and the fit very well. However, I'm 5'7 and have thin limbs and feet. I ordered size Small and they perfect measure across my shins and up to my knee. The padding on the rests very well and secure over the shoes. For reference, I wear a size 8.5/42. The elastic bands seem good quality as well. You could probably wear these over barefoot shoes as well.

I’m 5’11 200lbs and the Medium fits. Large was too big. These are better quality than the more expensive/popular ones.
