This was a perfect fit on my 2013 Scion xB's transmission. I'm not sure if the filter had ever been changed. After the change, there were no leaks, no problems. We cleaned the magnets in the pan, used 3M gasket prep to clean everything -- particularly contact surfaces, and torqued it all to spec. I'd definitely buy this again.

The gasket is rubber not rubberized cork piss poor in my estimation. Find one that has a rubberized cork gasket!!!

This filter fits my 2009 RAV4 2.5 L 2AR-FE engine type transmission perfectly. There was a piece of film inside the enclosure where it was visible in the opening. Also, the rubber gasket had holes for the transmission pan screws that were sized just right so when I pre-inserted the screws into the pan through the gasket, the screws didn't fall out. That allowed me to re-install the transmission pan without any issue. I believe this filter has good value.

I swapped out my filter but maybe not needed. Per the manual there's really no need to replace the filter and you have to remove the mount right over the pan to get at some of the bolts (meaning, remove three bolts, and then jack the tranny up a few inches so you can get at these bolts.I cleaned mine out because my daughter was complaining about the shifting and replaced with fresh Tranny fluid. Here's what I learned, if you haven't serviced your transmission for a while (or ever per the manual) don't do it. My fluid was dirty / dark when I took it out, a sure sign tranny problems. If you see that, I suggest you don't change anything, including the fluid. It turns out that new fluid is mostly detergent and will give you issues after it's changed. Lots of articles out there on this so take a look, but don't be like me. Changed the fluid, and now the car tranny isn't working well enough to drive after a few days.
