Needed floss drops that fit only the color number of DMC labels, and these were perfect for that. I didn’t need to use tape to keep the labels in place. #310 in my image has tape but that was because I cut the label too short. Around the 3rd number on the label is long enough to stop the label from spinning on the floss drops. They fit a single skien of dmc 7 strand embroidery floss and fit on a binder ring. It doesn’t come with a separate part to hold thread leftovers. I’m okay with that since I use the part that holds the skien anyways. I am very pleased with the quality and price of them. They were easy to put the floss through as well

I had these bought by my bf.When working on large Cross stitch projects, these comes very handy. I love them.Peeling the plastic layer wasn't difficult. Didn't snap at all.It's a little tricky though. Use your thumb nail to scratch from the outer side, and it should come off fine.I gave only 3 stars because when my bf ordered these twice, and they both didn't come x50 pcs per box like it says in description.One came with only x42, and other was x48.If any, it comes with parts that should have been removed from the actual main piece.

I tried to peel the sheer peel-off and it broke. Then I tried to place the label over the table to ID the color, and two more trying to do this. They're very weak.

I like to precut and separate a good amount of each thread color when I prep for a project and I was looking for a good way to store those threads. I tried one of those wooden palettes with holes but they only had so many slots and I gave myself a splinter. These tabs are absolutely perfect. I can add as many as I need to one of those DMC metal rings and label them with a little painters tape so that I can reuse them for the next project. One of the best cross stitch accessories I have bought.
