This tree topper is so pretty. It flashes a lot more than we thought it would. It really brightens up our Christmas tree.

This star is pretty heavy. It is very pretty but have a hard time getting it to stand up on my tree.

I recently purchased the Philips 14" Silver Glitter Star Treetopper with Clear Gems, hoping to add a touch of elegance to my Christmas tree. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has left me disappointed, and I can only give it 2 out of 5 stars.Firstly, the twinkling lights on this treetopper blink way too fast. Instead of creating a subtle, warm ambiance, they create a distracting and almost frenetic light show. It's not the cozy and inviting atmosphere I was hoping to achieve for the holidays.Secondly, the shedding glitter is a real issue. As soon as I placed the treetopper on my tree, it began to shed glitter all over the branches and floor. It's messy and frustrating to constantly have to clean up the glitter, and it detracts from the overall look of the tree.Lastly, the clear gems on the treetopper are not evenly placed. They appear to be slightly offset, which makes the product look cheap and poorly made. I was expecting better quality from a Philips product.Given these issues, I have decided to return the treetopper. It simply does not meet my expectations for a holiday decoration. I was hoping for something elegant and tasteful, but unfortunately, this product falls short in several key areas.
