This compact car seat adapter is the second best thing we have ever purchased for our children. The first would be the phil and ted sport with doubles kit. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and versatility of the phil and ted products we have purchased. I wish I had discovered them sooner! Yes, they are expensive but it is 100% worth the investment. The adapter works smoothly with our graco snugride 35 litelx. I can not speak for other carriers as that is the only car seat we have at this time. The adapter enables you to leave the littlest in their seat which makes for a seamless transition from car to stroller. The adapter can be used in the jump seat space at the lower rear of the stroller with baby facing away from you. Or in the upper space with baby facing you (or away from you I suppose although we have yet to try that). The adapter in the upper position requires you to remove the sport stroller seat if you plan to add the jump seat or another adapter and car seat. If a secondary seat or storage is not needed you can slightly recline the sport seat or lay it flat and add adapter and car seat. Removal of sport seat was surprisingly just as easy as the assembly video shows on the Phil and Ted website even with my two year old “helping”. Once removed, and adapter in place the car seat can be clicked in and strapped down for safety. This leaves plenty of room underneath for storage while out and about or add the jump seat with the doubles kit for your bigger little to ride along, or add another car seat adapter and click in a second baby car seat (would be ideal for twins). The car seat adapter pieces are the same as the jump seat so you can reconfigure your stroller without having to disassemble. I can not express how awesome the Phil and Ted products are and the car seat adapter is no exception. Thank you Phil and Ted for making high quality products with functionality and versatility in mind!

It is not universal, it is not valid for most of the prams, I have two different prams and I can set up the product in any of both.it is very tiny.
