Installed this catalytic converter on my 2001 Buick LeSabre. I painted it with exhaust paint to hopefully prevent it from rusting as quickly. After one month, the cat is failing. Amazon says it’s outside of the return policy of the 30 days. Getting a check engine, light for efficiency below threshold. I would not recommend buying this catalytic converter.

I got this to modify and use in a universal application, the welds on it seem good, and the car passes emissions now. For the price, I'm not sure how long to expect it to last, but I just needed the car to pass emissions one more year, so it's worth it for me.
