This Intake system is really nice and the parts seen to be of good quality. I've had other intakes and normally the intake tube is thin aluminum, this one is way thicker. I like that the "air box" is sort of closed off from the engine bay by means of a metal frame with weather swiping, it should create a box when the hood is closed.I will report back after my mechanic installs it.Update:This does not fit a 08 Ltz Suburban without a lot of modifications

Bought this intentionally knowing that it wouldn't properly fit my truck (2007 Silverado) but with a little modification, was able to make it work.The 2007 uses a different MAF sensor than the 2008, however I was able to trim the length of the tube, blank off the bung and use an adapter hose to fit the pieces together.Looks good and works very well, gives me that intake noise I was hoping for.Significantly better air flow than the stock intake.

Scratched badly. No quality control at this company .. it’s the first thing you see and it looks worse than my factory intake.. they should send me a free one to replace it
