The part was definitely the right part for my 2000 Ford Ranger with a V6 however, the valve does not seem to be opening so either something is wrong with my ECU or it’s a bad part

A good IAC valve at a good price

This was one of the best prices I found for a new Idle Air Control Valve (IAC) for my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Even better than Rock Auto. It works great. Fixed my idle recovery problem. This is the 4th time I have had to replace the IAC on this vehicle. The last 3 were all Autozone Duralast. The last one only lasted 2 years and 17,000 miles. I hope this PHILTOP one lasts longer.
