I ordered these with our 20W Diode laser machine where my wife and I are making a few sets of earrings and needed earring hooks to complete what we are making. While we are not planning on going into the jewelry business, we thought we would make a few for friends and family and maybe a few extra to see if maybe the tourists near our mountain cabin located next to a national park might buy some. I plan on selling laser created souvenirs and thought we could test out earrings as well. They seem to be of good quality and my wife who knows more than I do agrees and we are waiting on feedback to know if the metal causes any irritation or sensitivity.

I bought this set for my new jewelry-making hobby, so hopefully attach some charms to bracelets, and I'm mostly satisfied, as the metal is easy to work with and the jump rings are consistent. My one complaint is about the color. These come in that bright yellow that is so clearly not gold-plated that it looks like costume jewelry next to the higher quality charms and bracelets I'm pairing them with. I don't love this, but I recognize that the color will likely darken with wear, and look more natural. Otherwise, this was a good find. If you're setting out to make fun jewelry "from scratch" this will do the trick.Tip: These come in a plastic case, which is useful, but the smaller pieces come in little rip-to-open bags, which makes it a little difficult to keep things organized after opening. I recommend finding some small zip-to-close bags from other jewelry buys and immediately transferring the pieces into those - that saved me a lot of trouble.
