These are not crystal clear. They "sort of" served the purpose that I was using them for; however, they are definitely NOT a glass replacement. You (and everyone) will know that it is not a glass pane and it is made of plastic.

Heavier cardstock and a great value for the price. I did end up returning these as they were not all a uniform fit for the intended frame. (Possibly my frame was a bit off as well). Overall, a good value and unable to locate locally for this price point.

I picked these up so I could use some larger frames I have around for my smaller pictures, they're easy to cut to fit in your frame and the inner size is a pretty common size so you don't have to worry about cutting that down. I also just like the sophisticated look of a black picture matte much more than the typical white look.
