The clear “bag straps” are short but I tied two together and it worked perfectly.

this is really cheap plastic and not see-through. I would not recommend this for candy lays I would continue to use plastic wrap.

This kit is perfect for candy leis. It is so much easier than making them out of plastic wrap. You just slide the candies in, tie them off with the included ribbon, decorate it with a few of the included tags and you have easy, fun graduation leis.

After hearing from a friend what a pain it is to make candy leis using cellophane, I thought this kit would be worth a try for our next fundraiser. The kit thoughtfully includes ribbon and stickers (good adhesion!), so all you need to do is to buy candy and put it all together. I made a sample lei to test, so it’s not as pretty as my final project will be. I like that you don't have to tape each item. Fun sized bars slide right on into the tube. I did have some bagged fun sized candies, which had to be folded in half to put in. Since the tubes have a frosted look to them, they don't have as crisp of a presentation as a cellophane lei, but it looks nicer than one made with plastic film wrap. They are definitely quieter and less scratchy than a cellophane lei. Looking forward to putting my leis together! I think I’ll avoid melty chocolate altogether and instead use lollipops, large Tootsie rolls, Hi Chews and Starburst.
