Belts are silent when running. Adjustability was needed for my application.

I have had to remove several links 6 to 8 times, seems as if just waiting until it breaks.

Love these segmented belts. They work well and fit almost all the requirements a V-belt. They however, do not function well on lawn mower decks and high power transmission applications.

I replaced my old noisy belt with this Link V-belt and my drill press became so much quieter. I love it. Sometimes I turn on the drill press just to hear it run. Sooooo quiet!

My 1907 Industrial Singer sewing machine works great with this v-belt. I had a tiny wrestling match getting the belt back together after adjusting the length. My fingers were not strong enough. If you use needle nose pliers you can reattach the links with no problem. My sewing machine works better with this belt because it doesn't slip like the original leather belt did.

Just know that the belt will be 5 links or three inches short of 5', as other reviews have said. If you need a full 5' you'll be short, otherwise looks and feels quality. Will update review after running.

I have an OLD wards portable table saw, and when I say old, it is dated in the middle forties. Just after the Second World War kind of old. As it stands, you need to have an external motor to power it. I have several old tool of this vintage, and I need to power them with the same motor. I can easily set up this belt to power the table saw, or the little jig saw, or the sanding plate.... you get the idea. I simply change the belt's length a bit and hook up the next tool. The belt runs cool, it has very little air noise, and does not bound like many classicly styled "V" type belts. it simply doesn't take a set over the pully. be sure to select the correct size of belt. by this I mean the width of the belt. I thought that I needed a 1/2 inch wide belt, but this one came out to be considerably more narrow and wound up working just fine with the 3/8. I spent a little bit extra on the first belt, and when sized, I had about 5 inches of left over. I then ordered the belt that should have fit the next tool, but wound up being a bit short. Yep, I have a little bit to adjust. Either way, I like this belt. you will too I think. Have a blessed new year, 2020 has left us now, and we can only get better!

This product says it is 5 foot. It does not stretch to 5 foot. It is about 3-4 inches short.
