This item is exactly what I needed. I have over 600 albums, tapes, 45's, reel to reel tapes, cassettes, and finally after all these years I can listen to them once again without spending a small fortune to buy a receiver that supports the old style phono devices. It works as advertised and is so sensitive and I get that old ambient sound that is so lacking in today's digital recordings. It's a dream come true and works like a charm. You won't be disappointed if you buy it, and it's so simple to set up.

Doesn't look like the adapter would fit in the box. False advertising. Will be returning unless the seller states they will send me the adapter.
