This is a great small photo box setup for taking high quality photos of small objects like jewelry or small art figurines. I own several photo “boxes” of different dimensions and I really like the way this one is set up. it is sturdy and I really like the stiff color backdrops. On one of my other kits I have to iron or steam out the backdrop so there are no lines. This one has a stiff plastic material to the backdrop so that isn’t an issue, but because there isn’t a felting on it it does reflect a bit more than I like so I may cut cloth to my specks. This comes with a dimmable LED light kit that is surprisingly good and attaches directly to the supports. This is a “build a box” with metal rods not a twist and pop up so at least for smaller figurines and jewelry this may become my new go to photo set up. This has a “soft light” cloth to help diffuse the light and an open window for a spot light (not included) or if you want to take pictures from above. And it all fits in a travel zippered case for storage (and I guess taking to a small shoot)

This photo light box does the job, but the setup instructions left me scratching my head. They talk about installing "the light strip" when there are actually three of them. The instructions don't clarify where they should go or even mention how to use the optional features like the white diffusers.Once I figured it out, setup wasn't difficult. You can place the LED strips wherever you need them to light your subject properly - would've been nice if they just said that.The LED strips themselves work very well with good adjustable brightness. The box comes with several colored backdrops, but I only use the white, gray, and black ones. Don't want colors reflecting onto my products.The construction is sturdy, and while the 15" x 15" size is relatively small, it works for my needs. When set up and used properly, there are virtually no shadows in the photos. For value, it sits in the middle range - not the most expensive light box out there, but not the cheapest either.I appreciate the included storage bag and the fact that they included extra parts. Overall, it's a solid light box once you get past the vague instructions.

The objects you put in here will definitely be lit up.. I am no professional but this will work for many things to showcase..The light box came with more than enough options for you to take photographs and set it up.. I will be using it for pretty basic stuff so 16x16 works well..Easy to setup, the poles don't get pushed in all the way otherwise the lights will flex. The background rolls could have been a little longer, the further back you push your object the roll will want to roll back.I chose to pull the power cords out of the box to connect. But you have enough cord to setup any way you want.. The power setting box did get pretty warm after a few minutes on 75% just watch out for that..Very portable with the carrying bag to put everything into..

This is my first light box, so I'm excited to learn about how well it works for taking pictures of things.This light box comes as a complete set and has everything needed to take great pictures of whatever object(s) that the user is trying to show. There is some assembly required, but it isn't hard to assemble and disassemble to store in the included storage bag.As this is my first light box, I have nothing to compare it to, but I will say anyway what I like about this light box. I like that it has three LED light bars that clip to the frame, and each one can be moved to the front, back, or middle on the top of the light box as needed. The light control box, which plugs into a wall outlet, has a nice dim to very bright light settings and is easy to set the lights to the desired brightness as needed. The three light strips all plug into the control box with three separate cords so the user can choose to use one, two, or all three light strips as they see fit.I also like how on the cover there is a hole at the top (that is covered by a velcro panel) that can be opened to take top-down photos. The front of the light box has a panel that can be zipped closed, and there is a hole that can be opened to take pictures that way. The kit includes two white thin cloth panels, one with a hole in the middle and one without that can be attached to the frame for more photo opportunities. The included backgrounds are nice and aren't cheaply made and with proper care should last a very long time.In conclusion this light box is easy to put together (they give some spare parts) and once the user assemblies it once and decides to disassemble it either to store it or to take it somewhere to use (as it is very lightweight) reassemble is even easier but just in case keep the instructions in the storage bag.I now use it for all my reviews that have items that can fit inside this light box.
