After the first couple days of use, the cover was leaving some small fibers on the keyboard. This was enough reason for me to return the item. Upon giving the fabric a few firm shakes, fibers were flying everywhere and threads began coming loose at the edges (pictured).The fabric appeared nice enough after removing it from the packaging. It was smooth and appeared to be without defects. But I can’t see how I could recommended this product since it was never washed and was always handled with care for the two days that I using it.The fabric is quite simply of poor quality. We have no pets or small children in the house. And the only times it was handled was when I would sit down once a day at the piano. It was simply removed from the keyboard, set aside on a nearby table, and placed back on the keyboard when I was done playing. But apparently that was enough for the fabric to start shedding small fibers.That said, the size of the cover was as advertised, 50 x 5.9 inches. That’s really the only positive thing I can think of mentioning.

Habe es in hell rot (ist nicht richtig knallend) gekauft. Ist ein dünner, schöner Tastenläufer aus glatter, pflegeleichter Microfaser. Edler goldener Aufdruck sieht super aus. Ich würde ihne wieder kaufen.

The piano keys when not played is covered by the piano lid, but it still gets dust and it needs to be protected.What I had was thicker clothes, but what I have now is really good too.My piano is white and so does this clothes. It is hard to find white color. Most of them are red color.

As soon as I opened it, I was impressed with the quality of the fabric. Not sure what some of the other reviewers were expecting, but the thinness of the material was a plus for me - less heft to move back and forth, and it feels more premium. It feels similar to glasses cleaning cloths. The width is almost exactly 6", which mostly fits the keys but leaves about 3-4 mm on my Yamaha keyboard. Length is 126cm/49.5" which oversteps the keys by about half an inch (~1 cm) on each side.

I have a full Steinway D piano, and yet this was too long. The only keyboard longer would be an extended base Bosendorfer. I had to borrow pinking shears to make it fit. It's fine, but just annoying.
