Excellent quality and a good value for the money. But the housing is not water resistant at all. Installed outdoors it gets quite a bit of rain water inside. Doesn't seem to affect it (so far).

I ordered a 0-4000 lbs. gauge for my o2 tank on my o2/acetylene torch. It was the only one I could find in the pressure range I needed with 1/8-inch NPT male fitting. It arrived the next day, great start! It looked like almost a perfect match for my failed one! Then, I put on my "cheaters". Good that I did because the needle on the new gauge didn't appear to be on 0 - PSI (only one and half inch face). The needle was reading about 25 psi out of the package! I shook it a bit and needle didn't move. I saw the max PSI reading was only 400 pounds! That would be dangerous if hooked up to a tank holding 4000 PSI! Make sure you look at the gauge you receive closely! I returned mine and got a refund.

This gauge worked great in replacing the OEM gauge I broke on my acetylene regulator when the bottle fell to the ground. It actually is easier to read than the old one. I would buy this again if needed!!
