Piececool has become my go to for metal models. The engineering for these models is quite impressive. I build and paint Gundam models and this dude can be displayed right along with them.I have built the Queen Anne's Revenge from this company and that was a beast (see review if interested) this one however was mild compared to it. It's certainly in line with the posted difficulty level. Now don't get me wrong, you can't build this dude without the proper tools so ensure you get them. He is challenging in a manner that makes you focused. Not one that keeps you frustrated. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. And the pieces are vibrant and colorful. If you built a Metal Earth model successfully then you won't have a problem with this guy. If not just take you time and enjoy the end product.Note: these "Mech Suites" are not posable they are very static and there are no variations in the instructions, like most plastic models. What you see is what you get. This has become a fun and challenging hobby for me. It's nice because I don't have mounds of painting supplies scattered on my table. It's just the few tools you need and the instructions. So if you love to build these metal models are highly recommended.Always remember have fun building.

i have tried an failed to build this guy all the way 3 times. each time a small piece that only gets bent once one way breaks off an makes the whole thing un-useable i have all the right tools and still same thing. even used super glue this time. will not be buying this kind again. its 5/7 on the difficulty setting. its not that its even that hard. just frail bending points.bought a soldering iron to try this for the 4th timeI now have completed the Titan Model that is Similar to Optimus. They added extra pieces of the ones i wrote about in my complaint. THANK YOU. did not even need the soldering tool i bought for this. They listened and changed it. also they credited back my money for 2 of the other purchases out of the 4 i bought.thank you again and nicely done. enjoyed it. finished it over a weekend.

I had searched gundam but found this but it was pretty cute so i bought it. It was my first time building one of these things and yea it takes a pretty long time and was pretty difficult but i got it done, i just wish there was some spare pieces for those extra small parts but all in all instructions were clear

This was the first model like this I've ever made. I bought the tool kit from the same brand and If you don't already have the tools, get some. It'll be a nightmare, if not a near impossible to build if you don't have at least the flat nose pliers + nippers, and I also already had some round nose pliers and regular tweezers. This isn't a very difficult set to build provided you have good enough near vision to see the small pins, patience, and gentle hands. So i wouldn't recommend it for younger kids. Plus the wings and other metal pieces can be quite sharp, especially after trimming, so it would be unsafe for them. All in all, it looks great finished, came perfect with no damage and all parts, and I will likely buy another set from this brand in the future. Also, if you mess up it's not the end of the world. As long as you dont twist too hard/far the first time you can usually get another try out of it. And I recommend you read a bit ahead into the instructions. Some steps i found easier to do when switched around, or I would just do the repeated steps all at once.

This is the third of the Mecha series I have built. These are absolutely rewarding to assemble and are great conversation pieces. The quality is top notch! They usually include extra pieces, but I have yet to need to use them. Sometimes the directions need a bit of intuition to follow, but that's just the 'puzzle' part of building them ;) I would recommend getting a metal model tool kit, sometimes the tabs are hard to reach with just tweezers. Also, you can use the foam padding as a rolling mat, lay the part engraved side down on the mat, and use a metal tube or such with light pressure and roll it back and forth over the part to get a nice even contour.I would recommend these for ages 12+ and with some prior experience building metal model kits.

I absolutely loved working on this piece. Every piece so well thought out and the intricate details are just worth all that time. This was my very first metal puzzle so I did run into a few snags but I managed to stick with it and voilà!
