The color is sooooooo off. It is not green at all. It looks black. Will be returning because of color.

Lovely large candle - just as pictured should provide hours of candlelit if the power goes out or when we're feeling a bit romantic! I was impressed with how heavy the candle was - indicating the denseness of the wax. Looking forward to its' use.

When the candle arrived, the top had knicks in it and so did the side. It was shipped in a bubble wrap Amazon envelope, but the candle itself was not wrapped. Clearly, it got banged up during delivery. If I wanted this as a decorative candle setting, I could not use it. However, it burns forever. I mean really. Its been at least 60 hours and there is still a bit left.Overall, though the burntime is long my initial impression was not very good so I can't recommend these.

When I came across claims that Bougies La Francaise pillar candles could burn for 50, 75, or even 125 hours, I was eager to put those assertions to the test. I also needed stout candles to provide a soft heat barrier between a chilly window and my favorite tropical plant.I ordered three pillar candles: a white one with a claimed burn time of 125 hours, a green one expected to last around 75 hours, and a blue one with a 50-hour lifespan that arrived a week later.I began burning the white and green candles together near the plant on February 8. During this cold and snowy period, I kept them lit whenever I was home, averaging about 10 hours a day.I retired the green candle on February 16. Based on my calculations, it had burned approximately 10 hours per day for eight days, validating its 75-hour lifespan; in fact, it still had some life left.On the same day, I started using the blue candle alongside the still-burning white one. As I write this on February 22, both the blue and white candles are still going strong. After six days of burning for ten hours each day, the blue candle has easily surpassed its 50-hour claim. The longevity claims for all three candles have proven to be accurate.Aesthetically, I appreciate how the top edges of the candles have developed a wave-like shape as they burned. I’ve included a photo with this review showing the blue and white candles together from yesterday morning. Throughout this experiment, I expected the walls of the candles above the wicks to cave in, but so far, that hasn’t happened with any of them.Overall, I see no flaws in these Bougies La Francaise candles and am pleased to give them a solid five stars.

The Bougies La Francaise black pillar candle is both stylish and functional. The deep black color gives it a sleek, modern look that fits well in any decor. It burns evenly and lasts close to the advertised 75 hours, with minimal dripping or tunneling. The wax quality is excellent, producing a steady flame without excessive smoke. It’s a great choice for creating ambiance, whether for a dinner setting or just relaxing. If you need a high-quality, long-lasting candle, this one delivers.
