Prior reviews claimed that drain holes were not present but they can be placed by drilling. This is fairly typical for this type of product. You can choose to add holes or leave them without. I needed something taller and larger but otherwise this was OK. I did return mine due to size.

THIS IS A NICE FLOWER POT BUT IT ONLY CATCH MY EYE BECAUSE I THOUGH IT WAS CERAMIC BUT THERE IT WAS PLASTIC BUT ITS NICE POT THE LOOK RICHER THAN IT ACTUALLY IS.
