Your cart is empty.These stainless steel dissection pins are well-suited for a variety of applications. The 0.1 mm diameter headless pins are very thin and light. They work best for holding delicate tissues lightly in place. The pins come in a small plastic tube containing approximately 100 pins.

This may be my fault, I don't know, but I was a bit disappointed in the application I had intended for these: positioning tiny insects for photographic imaging. In that regard, the pins seemed a bit too springy to penetrate small specimens like carpenter ants, so I ended up going with the smallest size standard insect pin. I suppose for moving around large cells under the microscope or plucking dirt off of a tiny ant, these might work but not for me. Also, very easy to lose and I wouldn't want to step on one. Keep in a well lit, lab type area and you should be ok.
